I (USC) was asked 2 question about how we met and how he proposed. The agent asked him all the questions that was on his I485 application regarding ever being arrested, being in the military, etc. |

Embassy Review : |
Fiance interview was for 0900, he got there probably 30 minutes prior. He said he didn't have to wait too long to get inside the building. He was called up to the window 2 times, the first time was to get the required documents ( passport, police cert, non-impediment, etc). The second time was for the actual interview. He can't quite remember all of the questions since he was nervous, but he said he was asked about how we met, what I did for a living, how many times have we met in person, where I lived, what he did for living, and where he worked? He was asked for pictures and affidavit of support (the newer version) with the supporting documents. Overall he said the consular was nice and his experience wasn't bad. Unfortunately, although he did the medical 1 month prior at Andrews, they still haven't sent it to the embassy. So we are approved, pending the medical. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
