Woohoo! Interview was only 10 minutes long. Asked your basic civics questions and took an oath right then and there. Finally done with the endless paperwork. |

Embassy Review : |
My wife had her interview on the 10th of November. They didn't ask for any of her documents except our proof of being together, which they briefly glanced over and handed back. They told us that we were missing the i-864a on the online portal so they issued us a 221g. However 2 days later they have issued our visa. The administrative process was less than 2 days.
They asked my wife
"are your husband's parents still married"
"how did you meet"
"did your husband live abroad"
"how old is your husband and what does he do for work"
"how long are you together for"
Overall a good experience. I also applied for my newborn's passport which was an extremely fast process and everybody was very helpful. Not sure how the embassy could be better than this. |

Timeline Comments: 5Hi guys! Did the NVC ever receive your case?
Nope they told us they are having issues and haven’t resolved it yet
We got dq'ed recently as well, just waiting for an interview!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
