Interview was fast and easy. We provided photos of our US trips (San diego, LA, Seattle, Lake Tahoe). Only "required" questions were asked: Were you a prostitute? Did you ever commit a crime? Convicted of a crime? Are you a terrorist? Ever helped a terrorist organization? etc. **UPDATE** Finally received Green Card - 1 year after US entry. |

We sent EAD form along with AOS (joint filling) . Received RFE - statement of Name (strange because we sent copy of passport, marriage cert, Social Security Card with AOS application). Advice: make extra copies of passport, marriage cert, SS# card for EAD application. VERY FRUSTRATED it took 6 months to get a work permit! |

FINALLY!!!! Next we applied for US passport for upcoming intl trip. What a hassle! Had to show up 5am at "walk-in" post office (opens @ 10am). It's over 3 months waiting for an appointment otherwise. Passport arrived in less than a month (express service - $200). |
