Overnight to Lewisville, received 7 Sep 2016. Text message 12 Sep 2016 to notify Form I797 (NOA). Waiting for email and letter in the mail no later than 7 Oct 2016. Made account on USCIS website 12 Sep 2016 to track notifications and messages.
Once the NVC receives the case you will get the case id number that the embassy wants. The embassy never notified us of receipt or instructions. Calling 2 times a week helped to keep information updated and loose dead time because the case is there sitting on a desk, or waiting for thiem to contact us.
Once it got to the embassy the form dropped all of our contact info. Once i updated I was able to get the visa login to see my status, appointments and wait times in a dashboard for us. I did need to update information because some of it was not completely correct such as our names and address, some was correct but not all.
They do have an option to pay for the DS-160 through paypal, no lines at the bank. Once the DS-160 submission process is fixed, we should receive or last packet of information.
I never received an email or call or my fiance. Once the info was received by the embassy all contact info was dropped. Just give the TGG number for the national visa center and the file was found and had to manually update over the phone and the ustravel website. |

Quick and easy once atvthe counter. But there is a long line there. Two hours between flights was sufficent for us. |

Ensure you have the new medical form. Called around to many places but the department of health was the most cost effective and efficient. |

Went from bio appt to received 3 July to mailed 6 July. The only biometrics that were done were for the 485, nothing specific for the 131 or 765 so far.
Received the notification 2 days before the card. Card was sent USPS priority mail. Uscis website showed current status for the 765 but not the 131. Combo card was recieved says serves as i512 on the front and i766 on the back. |

Uscis website did not show any change in the status, even after the card was received. Uscis customer service said that 765 and 131 should come together, and he was correct, received a combo card that is good for a year from approval. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
