The process from the consulate receiving my petition to the interview date was all very quick, smooth and communication was easy. We arrived much earlier than out appointment time (my USC fiance came with me as he was visiting!) and went through security on level 10. Security were a little rude, but nonetheless we were called up to travel to the 59th floor (yes, very high up!), we took a number and sat down. Was called up once to give in my paperwork, and called a second time pretty much just to verify my information, take fingerprints, take an oath, and was approved on the spot! Super seamless, said my visa will arrive within a week or so via courier.
Advice: Be presentable. Some people looked like they just woke up, does not set a good representation of yourself. They will drill you if you don't look serious. If your fiance can come, bring them. Be confident, be prepared and over prepared if need be. You shouldn't be concerned, they aren't there to fail you, just to confirm some details and approve you :-) |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
