My interview went well, got there 15mins late, first they took my passport, one passport photo and ds 160.l went through security screening, here they do not allow you to carry gadgets or electronics. They gave me a luggage number, as l had to leave my phone and other stuff. I went inside where they take your appointment letter, one passport photo then give you a number. After l got my number, l went and sat at the waiting area and waited for my number to be called, after 20mins I was called to window 9 where l met a Kenyan lady, she took my original birth certificate and a copy of it, my Ds 160,police clearance certificate, two passport photos affidavit of support and my passport. I went to sit outside again, then after 30mins I was called to another counter where they took biometrics then went outside was called after 1hr to window no. 7 where there was this young lady, she took my biometric and oath she asked me who is petitioning for me, how old he is, if he has any kids, if l have kids, how we communicate and how often, if l have been married before, if he has, why do we want to get married in US instead of Kenya, when did he last visit me. Then asked to see evidence of communication.my advise is, just be confident, polite, dress conservatively, only answer what you have been asked. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
