POE Review: Bahamas
Event Description
Entry Date : 2017-03-04
Embassy Review : We arrived at the airport three hours early. It took the full three hours to process his entry. He met with three CBP office before his entry was approved and his alleged overstay was corrected and removed. Even though the process was long, it was smooth. He was asked questions about the overstay and the purpose of his trip.

Event Description
Review Date : June 30, 2018
Embassy Review : We arrived an hour early and had to waited until the appointed time (30 minutes prior to interview) to check in. We brought two bags of documents and a photo album as well as the sealed medical. I brought too many documents. It was better to be prepared then not. Many people came without attorney and a few had attorney's. Several were reviewing their documents. While we waited we talked and joked with each other.

Our interviewer was very nice. She had our complete file which included the approved I-130 with supporting documents.
After we were sworn in, she asked for identifying documents and if we had any additional evidence to submit. While I pulled the documents and identity documents she reviewed our file and took my husband's biometrics. She reviewed the questions on his I-485 with him and asked a series of questions that she took notes on. She asked how we met; where we met; when we decided to get married; where did we get married; did we have a wedding; how many guest attended; and where were the rings purchased. She then reviewed our current evidence and the full photo album (about 200 plus photos). She did ask some questions about the photos and made some comments.

At the conclusion of the interview she said we were the only application that she was able to approve that day. She approved him for a 10 year card and it will arrive in a couple of weeks.

We give all thanks and praise to the Lord God almighty for bringing us through this journey. Thank you VJ family. The information I learned from this site was invaluable. Best Wished to all who are still processing through.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
