OK!
Eu: Levantei minha mão direita e falei Eu Juro
Eu: Sim
Consul: Com quem você mora no Brasil

Well my interview was today on April 3, 2017 in the consulate of Rio de Janeiro, my interview was scheduled for 07:40 AM I arrived at the consulate around 06:50, I passed by the security to be able to enter the consulate, I went up some stairs Until the place where the interview would be made. A boy there who can not remember the name explained how to fill out two roles that agent has to fill out, pay close attention in explaining him not to make mistakes, after putting all the documentation in order I was ordered to sit in a row of chairs forward that Would be called one by one to check the documents, OK after all checked the girl had me put my fingers on the machine to collect my fingerprints and told me to wait in the back seats that the consul would call by name for the interview.
Well I was waiting there were only two people in front of me, from what I saw the two people also had visa approved, arrived my turn she called me by the name.
Me, good morning.
Consul: Good morning, please raise your right hand and swear to speak only the truth
Me: I raised my right hand and I said I swear
Consul: Is your mother married to your stepfather (spoke his name) ...?
Me: Yes
Consul: Who do you live with in Brazil?
Me: With my grandmother
Consul: How old is your mother in the USA?
Me: I think it's 13 to 14 years.
Consul: OK! Does your mother already have documents?
Me: Not yet, but she's in the process.
Consul: OK! Your visa has been approved, have a good trip, you just need to go to the post office which is located in the building next door and pay for the shipping fee.
I thank you, have a good day.
Consul: Good morning.
Thank God, it all worked out right now just waiting for the passport to arrive home .. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
