Hi, I wonder if you had to show in person for your bio.appt. on 09/04/2020 or was your biometrics reused?
Rmurdough on 2020-09-16 said:
Yes, biometrics requires an in-person appearance. They have to physically take your fingerprints.

Thank you for the quick reply, the reason I asked is because a lot of people in Atlanta GA, San Antonio TX and other cities reported this month that they received NOA saying they don't need to come for biometrics, USCIS will reuse the ones on file and I wondered if that happened to since I am also in Dallas?

Throughout our several cases we have received both notices. If you receive a notice saying they will re-use your biometrics and they dont give an appointment location/time - then you do not need to go in. However if you do receive a notice with an appointment date/time then you will need to go in.

Ok thank you, it was actually very interesting to know if Rudyard & Prathibha actually were called to appear for their biometrics on 9/4/2020 in Dallas or were their biometrics reused like in other cities due to Covid-19 closures?!

Did you get your interview after 4 months ? I filed online too on April still same status .
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
