US Entry was quick and painless. Immigration officer was great. Process after I gave him my package and I was fingerprinted lasted maybe 2 to 3 minutes. My passport was then taken and returned after I claimed my luggage. All in all there was no need to stress. And yes, I was stressing. |

Since I had both ROC and N400 approved I have received a 797 notice in the mail a week later. Notice said that since both are approved I will not receive a green card but will after my Oath Ceremony receive a Certificate of Naturalization as a proof of my citizenship. |

It was in and out thing. I guess oath is a mere formality.
After the oath we were given our naturalization certificate and were sent on our way...15 minutes the most |

Hi guys..I hope my experience will help someone go through the process as stress-free as possible.
The interview itself lasted maybe 5-10 minutes. Questions I was asked were the ususal questions (at least that's what I have seen on VJ when researching other experiences).
How did we meet? When did we meet? How many times did you see eachother prior to getting engaged? Were we married before? What do my now - husbnd's kids say about our relationship? Did you go to see your fiancee or did he meet you in Zagreb? Any plans for a wedding? How did he propose?
And as my husband was telling me at that time: "hun, relax (I was a nervous wreck, duh) there is no wrong answer to their questions. Just tell them the truth."
I was told - you are approved, and I felt the earth move
One thing, though - make sure you are on top of the consular correspondence because in my case they kind of dropped the ball, and if I didn't call and write I would have waited for their response for a while.
Not to mention doctors exam - the worst experience ever!! I paid to have results within 24 hours and the doctor sent my results in 7 days. He was not professional at all. javascript:emoticon('') |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
