We received a 221 (g) for a missing document. The document was mailed to the embassy, and received on 10.4.16. K1 approved 10.11.16! A 2nd interview wasn't required, but we weren't able to enter any other way into the timeline. |

He was in and out, done with customs in about 5 minutes. Thankfully, there was no line, so he had a big advantage. |

Embassy Review : |
We arrived 25 minutes before the interview. The security guards were very friendly. We sat in the waiting room just a few minutes before being called back. I forgot the officers name, but he was super friendly. He glanced through the paperwork we had submitted, asked for our ID’s and my husband’s passport. He asked my husband a few questions, and then did the same to me, and told us he was approving the case! We were out of the office before our schedule appointment time. I’d say it took us a total of 10 minutes. Status online changed immediately to “card being producedâ€! We brought mounds of paperwork, but weren’t asked for any of it. Very friendly people! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
