Event Description

Embassy Review : In the beginning i really would like to thank VJ members for their support.
my interview was 8th of march at 8:30 i arrived super early like 5:30 am and they defiantly didn't let me in until it was 6:30 am. I've been the second on the left line " immigrants line " after the regular checks from the guard and the then the Egyptian assistant we got inside after the second check inside the embassy i was lucky to get the first number " No 600 " waited onside for like 15 mins or something and my number has been called to window 14 " an Egyptian young girl " asked me in -Arabic how/when did we meet ? and what do we do ? then she asked about my cellphone number and my email " something weird happened here when told is this your facebook email i told her that I'm not on Facebook she was typing on the computer and suddenly stopped and stared to me saying are you for real no one doesn't have Facebook nowadays ?? i assumed that she was trying to confuse me tho so i responded HYG you met the first one lol she responded in a disappointed way ooh okay gimme your number and we will call you back.
i left and then i figured out that she didn't take my original documents OMG i said, and truly honestly it was very harsh minutes as i thought that I've been denied 😒😒,i waited for around 55 minutes and then they called my number again for the actual interview I've got window 15 and there was an amazing American white guy in his 30s i supposed,i saluted him in a smily face and said before we started i have something to say " i suppose that the lady in the fist call didn't get my originals he checked and said yes sorry maybe she forgot and he requested it.and here we go we started he asked me like 3 or 4 questions and we were laughing for the rest of the interview.
1-how did we meet, and how many times ? 2- how did i proposed ?3-what is my fiancé`s religious back ground, and if my family do mind that ? 4- if we do have any marriage arrangements?.
Actually after the second question i peeped around and i found out that he grabbed the lovely white papper so i knew that i was approved and that just a matter of time so we started to laugh together.
Finally he said congrats your visa is approved and you will get it within two weeks don't do any travel arrangements until you get it in hand wish you a lovely life in America,i really wished that i can hug him he was very decent with a truly jovial face.
interview tips :
-if you allow me to say go early but not earlier than 6:30 am
- be calm and well organized
- dress well it really matters " not to fancy 😎 "
- don`t really care for the Egyptian lady in the begging no matter how she tried to pisses you off.
- trust in God and everything is gonna be alright
best of luck to you all mates 😊
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
