Comments : The worse step so far was the rude CUSTOMS agent. To say he was out of line for his comments would be putting it nicely. I am considering a formal complaint to the U.S. Customs

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 3, 2006
Embassy Review : The consul and the interview were brief and without incident. It was the support following that put us through the ringer. The lady who answered the phone the first time told me to call back in a month. The second lady I called said that the visa would be issued after the "name check" was completed, and it would not be more than 2 weeks. Third call got me the first lady again who told me it would be a month again!!!GRRRR! Forth call to try and get them to agree to let her pickup the visa at the embassy I was on the phone with them and they were telling me it could take three days for the visa to get printed. That is when my fiancee received the text message from DELBROS about the visa out for delivery. So the people answering the phone, although very nice, are not very well informed.
Rating : Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
