the Custom of Portland was nice and patient. wait for a while, but no problem at all. He explained the VISA can be a temporary Green Card to look for a job. (but without SSN, I don't think is possible...) |

Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS since 03/21/2022
10:40 appointment, arrived 15mins ahead, checked in 2nd floor, waiting for 30 mins, the officer was super nice. Provided ID, the passport and green card. Asked 6 questions and passed, read the question on the tab, the officer told me the answer and asked me to write on the tab, then series yes/no questions. The officer told me I am approved, and ask me to stand, raise my right hand to read the oath. (not prepared for this, so didn’t read very smoothly, oops). Got the approval documents and flag, went down stair to wait for my certificate! Finished the process by noon!! |

In general, the employees there were all nice and patient, and luckily there were only one people in front of me, didn't wait so long
There are three steps to follow:
1. Hand in passport, photos, required document, medical exam report. Also, she asked for update tax info and police certificate
The lady asked: have u live aboard over 1 year? have u been to America?
2. The second lady review my documents and ask me to provide my the fingerprint, and ask more question: what do u do?
3. The last lady doing the interview
All the process took 1hr and half |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
