Received text and email on 5/11/2016 to say name was updated on April 30.
Called USCIS 5/13/2016. Tier 2 officer said there was a glitch in the system and that my address was missing. He later confirmed the address that reappeared on the system and said the card should come in about 2-3 weeks.
Called USCIS 5/23/2016 and tier 2 officer told me bs. I looked up for my congresswoman's phone number, called and was told to come in to the office. They were very happy to assist. I went and her aide called MSC/NBC. NBC confirmed that I was approved 4/30/2016 for ead and 5/2/2016 for ap. Within minutes of leaving the office, I got a text and an email that my new card was being produced. Thanks to Steven, Mary and their supervisor at Congresswoman Yvette Clarke's office.
Letter re expedite request received May 31, 2016. It stated that case was approved on April 30, 2016.
Ead/ap combo card received May 31, 2016. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
