Event Description
Review Date : July 4, 2016
Embassy Review : My interview was scheduled for 12 noon , arrived 11:15am reported to the tent , showed my DS confirmation and ticked off my name on the list of names . Was let in immediately . Security checked and number for the day was stuck on my passport .
Waited for 30 mins until my number was called . A lady was at the said window , took my finger prints , asked for my passport, affidavit of support from fiance with letter from employee , police certificate was also collected , asked when I intend to travel . A copy of my passport picture was made and original returned to me . I was then sent back to sit down and await the second part of interview . Was seated for another 15 mins

The second part of the interview was extremely swift and at ease , was at the window for a total of 5 mins max I was sworn in , asked how fiance and I met (gave her the timeline of our relationship and some back stories ) and what fiance does for work ... After which I heard the much awaited words" visa approved , go and celebrate "
Was all smiles , said thank you and for second lost my sense of direction🙈

The CO made it so informal and stress free , answering her questions felt like I was talking to a fellow colleague . Despite my nervousness prior , the experience was pleasurable and less daunting . My advise to upcoming applicant is to relax , get there early and most importantly relax ( easier said than done )
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
