Comments : My fiancé arrived for his 7:00am interview early. He was asked to provide his Medical, Passport, and Police report at the door. He then waited 4 hours. He was called for his interview the entire interview was around 2 min. He was asked:
Who is petitioning for you?
He responded.
Where does she work?
He responded.
How many times did she visit?
He responded 3 times
What were the dates and legth of each visit?
He responded May 2015 for 7 weeks
June 26 for 5 days and we got engaged on the 28th
and Feb 13 for Val day.
He was then told to take the paper and pick up his passport with his visa in 10 days.
Thank you to all who post questions and to Visa Journey for having this outlet it helped us a great deal. I front loaded my petition. It was not even a large packet I set 4 sheets of pictures with notes about each pic 4 to a page.
I sent maybe 10 pages of our email over the 3 years.
I also sent the forms needed and about 10 pages of whatsapp convo a few from each year and my plane ticket copies as well as an email to the consulate when I was on my first visit asking for help to extend my stay due to my passport stamp in the Lagos airport only being for one month and I stayed 3 weeks longer. They gave me a contact name and the man at immigration gave me a new stamp for $100.00US.
I pray for all of you on this journey prayer and peace helped us. We trust that God had his plan and we allowed his will to work.

Comments : We interviewed in Charleston SC for about an hour simple questions for a married couple how did you meet, what was my visit to Lagos like, questions about my past marriage, asked to see evidence, looked at all wedding pictures and documents. It was not stressful at all. Change in laws mostly all couples will be required to interview in 2 years. Greencard will come in the mail in 30 to 60 days.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
