Comments : Our I-129F package never reached the NVC; somehow it must have gotten lost in the mail. However, we were able to arrange for me to stay in Romania for a while, and for us to get married in Romania (Nov 2, 2006), which was a blessing! We got to apply as an IR-1 (Immediate Relative) in person in Romania, allowing her and I to finally be together and her to come to the U.S. with me. She is here with me and she just got her conditional permanent residence changed to permanent residence. So this was a happy ending! We have been married and together for over 2 1/2 years now! Hope this is encouraging to you! She is now a permanent resident and will apply for citizenship soon.
