We neglected to include the Australian Police Certificate in our packet when we interviewed, or else the visa would have been approved during the interview. We were able to get the Australian Police certificate within two weeks and mail to the US Consulate, who then issued our visa in time for our travel to the states on June 28th. |

Overall, it was a good experience with the interview. The staff will direct you through a security check-in and paperwork screening until you are called for an interview. The person who interviewed us was normal and rational, whereas they were a couple employees who seemed a little crazy i.e. one of those government workers if you ask clarification on a question, they seem pissed off with you. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
