Visa APPROVED!!!!
My husband's interview was at 7:30am on May 23, 2016 but he waited some hours before his interview.
He was asked the following questions:
1. Have you traveled outside Ghana before?
2. Have you ever applied for a US visa before?
3. How long have you known your wife?
4. How did you meet your wife?
5. How long was it after your wife came to Ghana did you meet her?
5. What was your wife doing in Cape Coast if she was going to school in Accra?
6. Why did your wife move to Cape Coast after she finished school?
7. Who signed your marriage certificate?
8. Who is ...
9.Why did we have our wedding in Takoradi?
10.Who is your sponsor and where does she live?
My husband says he was very nervous during the interview and a lot of people were being denied that day (he only noticed one other approved) because people didn't go in prepared with only maybe one or two pictures and very little other forms of evidence. Please go prepared with good quality evidence, a lot of pictures from beginning of relationship until most recent. Our evidence included WhatsApp chat and call logs(between 100-150 pages), direct line call logs, emails(about 5 pages), Facebook screenshot (about 10 pages)of us together, pictures in a photobook, from start of relationship to most recent(around 50 or 60 pictures including some with my family and his at our wedding), evidence of our daughter together, copies of stamps in my passport passport.
My husband's advice:
Also don't forget the CO is not there because they want to deny you.... No one is happy keeping someone from being with their live one's... You only have to prove to them that you have a real relationship. Think like the CO and ask yourself is what I'm presenting enough to prove to someone who knows nothing about me that I'm in a real relationship? And with that you will get your visa. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
