Consulate Review: Ankara, Turkey
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 2, 2016
Embassy Review : Hello everyone. I had a really good experience in Ankara even though they had some technical problems and I had to wait a bit longer than normal.

After security check you get your number and wait with all other people in the waiting room. As soon as i got my number it showed up on the screen. They already had all the documents i submitted in advance. I gave my passport and started to wait in the room. I had to wait a bit over 2 hours but as soon as i went to window for my interview I forgot all about it. The lady was really nice she only asked me a few questions.

The questions she asked;
1-How did we meet ?
2-How did we manage to have a long distance relationship for 4 years ?
3-When and where i proposed ?
4-Are we going to have a family wedding ?
5-Where are we going to live in USA ?

It took around 2 minutes and she told me she went through all of our files and everything looks perfect and she wished me a good trip to USA.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
