Event Description
Review Date : April 6, 2021
Embassy Review : During the interview, the interviewer was very cordial. She didn’t ask too many questions from me . I have never felt that it was an actual interview. It was just a kind of validation of the documents I have submitted.. The question that I remember was “ what do you plan to do in America?”. I also brought so many proof that our marriage is bonafide but she never asked to see it. I also brought my husband’s I-864 but she didn’t even ask for it. After the interview , she told me right away that my papers are ok and that I can have my visa in less than 2 weeks . After I got home , I checked my status online and it says my visa has been printed. After 5 days , I got a notification that I can pick up my passport at the official pickup point near me. After I got my visa, I booked my flight to the US. I will be flying on the 25th of May.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
