Embassy Review : |
The real journey actually started on the 29th of january when i went for my interview at the USA embassy and was denied entrance by the security guys at the embassy gate who were taking in for interview.
i was abit late but the fact was that they directed me to the wrong line which was for non-immigrant visa applicants. They asked me to wait until 11am for enquiries which i did and it was a miracle that i was given the next day for my interview while others were given April and May.
I was there the next day and really had my interview done at the counter 12 but funny enough, i forgot my birth certificate and was yet to get my medical report.
I was first asked the name of my fiancee, how we met, her job, to explain her job to them because she(the interviewer) claims that she doesn't know what a medical coder does. i was also asked to show her the pictures we took when my fiancee visited, all of them, with my family, friends and me. I was also asked to present the mails we exchanged. They also wanted to know if i knew things about her personal life, who she is living with.
After the questions, i was asked to come back on the 2nd of february with my birth certificate and medical report, to conclude my interview.
On the 2nd of february, i was at the embassy with all that was left for submission and i did submit them when i was called.
The lady that interviewed me the first day was the same person to interview me.
She didn't really ask me questions, all she said was that i was asked to bring my birth certificate and medical report and that they have seen them, for that reason, they do not have any reason to deny me the visa to USA and she said congratulations, that was it.
CHEERS.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
