I-129F sent 10-30-2007
Check cleared bank 11-07-2007
Found Reference number on back of e-check.
NOA 1 never recieved, called and they said they had mailed it. They sent another copy which I got two days later.
NOA 2 e-mail stating approval was recieved on 2-20-08.....
Went to bogota 3-14 through 3-24-2008.
When I got home I called NVC and they told me that the papers had arrived in bogota on 3-1-2008. My fiance never got them. I called the embassy and told they that the packet was lost. The embassy said they would send out another packet. I went online and found the packet info on the BOG embassy site and downloaded all papers. My fiance filled them all out. Another week went by and the second packet had not shown up. I called the embassy and they told me to have my fiance come on thursday at 12:30 to the embassy and they would give her a packet 3. april 3 2008. My fiance went to the embassy to pick up packet and while she was there she told them that she thought she had all of the necessary documents with her. They inspected the documents and told her that she did not need the packet 3. They told her she would have packet 4 in 6 weeks. April 7, 2008. The embassy called my fiance today and said that she has an interview scheduled for May 2, 2008... They also told her to come to the embassy on thursday and pick up her packet 4. I guess they gave up on the mail system... |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
