Comments : Interview day was good. My appointment was at 9am Apr 24. We booked a room at Marriott the day before. Went there at 730am on Monday but got turned away and got told to come back at 845 and so I did. People with backpacks got turned away. All electronics are checked in at security. There was a line up, after all the security check, I made it up to the waiting room by 9:15. Got called at 930 for document checks. Then waited for an hour before i got called for my interview. my interview lasted 10 mins. the biggest question for me was proof of domicile. i basically just explained to her what steps and plans we took to reestablish domicile. 5 mins worth of explaination. After that she told me that my visa was approved and handed me the "welcome to usa" flyer and said that visa will be available in 2 weeks. I checked CEAC status right after my interview and my status was changed from "READY" to "Issued".

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
