Embassy Review : |
I arrived at the embassy about 30 minutes before my appointment. I was taken straight through security and went inside to wait in line for window G where I had to drop off my documents. After dropping off my paperwork I had to wait about 20 minutes or so before being called for my interview. The interview was very simple and took about 5-10 minutes. I was asked: where did I meet my fiancé, when did we first meet in person, when have we seen each other after that, what do I like about my fiancé and when/where are we having the wedding. I was then told that my visa was approved and I would receive it within 10 working days -- WOHO! javascript:emoticon('') The man interviewing me was very friendly and made me feel relaxed and at ease. It was a good experience overall and I was in and out of the embassy in about one hour. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
