Embassy Review : |
My Fiance arrived at 0700 for her 0900 appointment, She fell into the usual lines going to windows 1-4, they asked the dates of my previous divorces, which she nailed. Window four is the CO who was a female American, she asked her one question. "Tell me why you love Tracy?" After Jean is going on for awhile, she laughs and says okay okay enough already, you are approved. I told Jean our file was well organized and easy to read and chronological over three years and I believe the decision is made well before you walk upto the window. Our file was last reviewed Sept 23rd, Interview 27th ( I believe that they place a stamp or sticker at that point after the case has been reviewed at the embassy level with approved or denied.) Again that is just my educated guess, this after going through three previous B2 denials, You either confirm the positive or the negative to the CO by your answers, but I think the decison is made well before you stand in front of them. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
