Embassy Review : |
Approved!! Hi everyone here is the experience today. We got a room online reservation at the Centrol Capital Rotana Hotel near the USA Embassy in Abu Dhabi, The room was great sea view clean, modern and comfortable. We drove by the night before the interview to make sure where we were suppose to park and go in at the embassy. That morning on October 12, 2015, My husband went to wait in line at 5:30 am, when he got there he was the second in line. I stayed in hotel room comfortable waiting on him, sense they was not going to let me in the embassy with him. At 7:30 am the officers started letting immigrant people in going through security. Note: keep your passport and interview letter in hand to show at 3 different times he said. he was then guided to where he should sit while they waited on the windows to open up at 8 am. by that time he said the room was packed with people and he was glad he was second in line. At 8 am they open the windows and started calling people to windows. he was second in line for the immigration line so he did not have to wait but a few minutes to the window and asked for his original police clearance and passport. He was asked where he was going to live in USA then directed to go have finger prints made. We did not have to pay anything at the embassy. I guess cause we had paid everything online during electronic filing of the forms. He had to go to 2 different windows then after fingerprinting he was guided to a room that was locked after he entered it for the interview. The interview consultant was a nice lady. She asked him basic questions: where you work, how long you been married, when was marriage, when did she come to live with you. Then she said your approved!! Congratulations . He was out of the embassy by 9:30 am. YAY!!!! |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
