Hi there, I notice that your interview date is 03/07. But looks like your fiancé didn’t receive packet3 yet? Is it possible to schedule interview before your fiancé receives packet3?

Mumbai embassy has no pkt 3 for k1 visa. They will send pkt4 & hopefully will get it prior to interview. If not will contact embassy

Hello! I have a question. After your case left NVC, when were you able to schedule the interview date? Will the beneficiary get an e-mail about the required documents need to bring (packet 4) at interview? or is that something that needs to be submitted before the interview date? Any input would be appreciated. My NOA1 was October 4th, and i hoping to be done by this first stage by late Feb. early March.

Once the case was ready at embassy we paid the visa fee & scheduled the interview . There’s no pkt3 for k1 for our embassy. Beneficiary will get pkt4 in 2 weeks of case being ready

Thanks for your feedback Ujones!
So how do you get to know about your interview date? Do they mail you or do they email you?
Also, how you know when your case left the NVC?

Once you get the NOA2 you can call NVC for ur case # & then keep tracking at ceac website. Their you can see ur case status & once u see it ready at embassy you can log into ustraveldocs & fill ds160 ,pay fee & book your appointments.
SaAa on 2019-02-02 said:
Ah I see. Can you book both medical and interview appointment using this ustraveldocs portal?
Also, it looks like DS-160 can be submitted online, right?
Ujones on 2019-02-02 said:
Medical is by calling the clinic directly ( you will need the interview appointment letter for the medical ) & interview & biometrics is online. Yes Ds160 is online submission & payment can be made online too.

Hi ujones, can you please shed additional light on what pieces of "proof of relationship" you brought to the interview, and what additional evidence you provided for the 221g? Thank you and congratulations!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
