Local US CIS Office Review: New Orleans LA Review Topic: cis_topic Event Description Review Date : June 28, 2016 Embassy Review : We arrived 30 mins early for our appointment and although there were a few couples also waiting we waited no more than 25 mins until the immigration officer called our names. We were led to an office in the back, sworn in and she then asked us each a few questions. Our names, birthdays, how we met, how my husband proposed and my sons names. I was then asked to confirm some information on the forms. Our officer then asked us for any additional evidence and then told us if we were approved we would receive a notice in the mail followed by the 2 year conditional green card. She explained we should receive a decision in the next 2 weeks. The whole interview process only took around 10-15 mins. 5 mins after leave the USCIS building we received approval online. Our officer was friendly and it was overall a pleasant experience. Harassment Level : Very Good
