Consulate Review: Warsaw, Poland
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : January 27, 2016
Embassy Review : The interview was actually nice. I brought all the paperwork with me as requested in packet 3. The interview was scheduled at 8.30am. I arrived at 8 am and they already let in. Security check, then paperwork, fingerprints and about 2 hour wait for a consul. He was a lovely smiling man, we had a good laugh. He asked where and when we met, how many times I have been in the US, when we got engaged, when will be the wedding. Also where we plan to live and when I want to arrive to the US.
He didn't ask for tax papers, nor for employment letter or bank account. Only the affidavit from my fiance side. He also didn't need any proof of relationship. He actually gave me back the pics we submitted long time ago with the petition. Wished me all the best and congratulated on the visa.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
