Hi everyone,
We want to give you guys an update on our case. Brief synopsis: My husband went on his first interview on 4/03/2016 but was denied and case was returned to USCIS.
We got the NOIR in 1/2017, submitted rebuttal in 2/2017 and case was reaffirmed in 3/2017. Ghana Embassy received our reaffirmed case in 4/2017. Hubby 2nd interview was scheduled on Sept 6, 2017.
According to my husband, the consular said we had a lot of evidence. He just ask him his name, my name, my date of birth and that was it. My husband said consular said I have already approved your visa, the interview was less than 3 minutes. He gave him the blue paper and told him congratulations and wish you two all the best.
Husband went to DHL 10 days after the interview and his visa was ready. Since we have been married for over two years, consular gave him the IR1 Visa.
Husband point of entry was in Chicago O’Hara Airport- he said it took him only 30 minutes to go through immigration. Immigration officer didn’t ask him any questions, just went through his packet and said “Welcome to the USâ€.
This is his second week here in USA. We have been spending well deserve quality time together. Thank God this process is finally only. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
