Local US CIS Office Review: Norfolk VA Review Topic: cis_topic Event Description Review Date : August 9, 2016 Embassy Review : We missed our biometrics appointment due to not receiving the mail, and found out several weeks later once USCIS had updated our case status online. We called USCIS and they said to just try walking in. We did that and were in and out within 15 minutes total. All staff were very polite, the office was clean, and it was not intimidating at all. Sooo much better than the DMV!! I thought it would be scary but everyone was so friendly. The guy who did the biometrics was joking around with us. It was such a pleasant experience, especially considering how much we were dreading it before. Harassment Level : Very Good
