POE Date : 2016-02-24
Got EAD Stamp : Yes,Passport Stamp
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : POE was Chicago Midway and it was great! It only took about 5 minutes for Customs Officer to go through my husbands file only asked two questions, he asked what we both do for a living and how long we've been married. He was very welcoming and it truly was the best way to end a day of traveling. So happy I chose to go through Midway and not O'hare. Thank God my husband is finally home.

Event Description
Review Date : February 5, 2016
Embassy Review : My husband's interview was at 8:30 am, he arrived at Embassy right at 8 am, and he stated the line was extremely long. Once inside he waited for about 2 1/2 hours before he was called up for interview. He was asked the following:

Where did you and your wife meet?
What first attracted you to her?
Why did you decide to enter into a relationship?
How old is your wife?
Where does she live?
(Showed him a pictures of us with his family and asked questions about people in the picture)
How old is your wife's daughter?
What does she like to do? he answered play with her toys which lead into next question..
Does your wife's daughter have any pets?
What kind of dog is it?
What's your favorite thing to do when you're all together?

Then she told him congratulations your approved, asked him if he's registered with DHL, gave him pamphlet about his right.

He stated the interview took about 5 minutes and it was like a conversation. I'm so very happy this process is over and we'll soon be together. javascript:emoticon('')

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
