Embassy Review : I had my interview today and I must say it was a smooth one Alhamdullilah by the grace and mercy of Allah.and offcourse my fellow vJers were a great help too. My visa got approved

I reached the DSS station at 6 .there were long queues and they did not start their service until almost 7 a.m . I took the ticket and boarded the bus .The fees is 200 Ruppes for a round trip.I reached the embassy at 7 35 a.m. Its a good 15 min drive.

They check for your interview letters at the entrance queue and also if you have you medical report with you. After you pass through the security check ins,The guy at the entrance door takes your interview letter and gives you your token tag and then you wait for your turns at the booth .

I was called to the windows 3 times in total. First time was to submit my picture and take my fingerprints ( GIRLS DO NOT GO WITH MEHNDI ON ,please they are going to send you back home if you have mehndi on your hands) .
second time ,they collected my passport, medical report, original birth certificate ,marriage certificate (english ,urdu, digital) .

third and final time for my interview. The guy taking the interview was a blonde (who greatly resembled Mathew Lewis ,neville longbottom :P ) He asked me if i could speak english.I said yes and he asked me the following questions .

who is sponsoring you?
when did you two get married?
Do you have any wedding pictures?
how did you two know each other?
where does your husband live in USA?
What does he do in USA?
When was the last time you saw your husband?
Is this your husband's and your's first marriage?
Do you have kids?
Have you been to USA before?
Does your husband have any relatives in USA?

Okay your visa has been issued and you will receive your passport in 10 days!
Alhamdullilah !

he gave me back my original documents and i came back to the DSS station .

All in all a very good experience, the staff was friendly except for one pakistani guy who was assisting in biometrics he went about insulting people for getting late and not responding to him.

There is a small canteen there to buy water or crisps.
The waiting time wasnt long .i was done with my interview by 9.

So girls no mehndi and please do get your wedding pictures .

Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
