Pretty good experience at this interview. Because we had front- and side-loaded, my husband brought only his originals and a couple of updated financial documents with him. The national who was checking him in was alarmed that he hadn't brought any wedding photos and seemed to feel this would be a big negative, but the CA had all of our documents and photos and didn't request to see anything else. He didn't request a birth certificate for my husband's son (not immigrating), which was something we had had some doubts about (the embassy seemed to think it was required), but was basically impossible to get. About ten typical questions were asked. My husband did the interview in English with an American. The only problem concerned his vaccines; the doctor claimed the vaccines weren't available and told him to go ahead with his interview, but at the interview, they wanted to know why his medical information didn't have the certificates, and the doctor disclaimed any knowledge of the situation and said the vaccines had always been available. My husband was approved pending these vaccines, he went and got them immediately, turned in the papers the next day, and had his visa in hand within one week. |

No hassles, no waiting at Seattle point of entry. My husband said everyone was kind and he was especially pleased that they made it clear he was allowed to drive with his foreign license among other rights they told him he now had. He felt the questioning at his transfer point in Amsterdam was more strenuous. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
