Consulate Review: Ukraine
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 20, 2015
Embassy Review : 20 sept. 2015
I spoke with Natalia right after her interview at the Embassy in Kiev. Pretty straight forward for waiting in line, getting admitted and submitting the paperwork for review. It was a bit busy and the wait was a little longer than most that I have read about, but once called to be interviewed, the officer only asked a few questions, How did we meet, when was i in Ukraine, how many times was i in the country and did she know what her rights were once she was in the USA.
He then congratulated her and stated her visa and passport would be delivered in about 5 days. Natalia said the total time from arrival to the interview was about 2 1/2 hours.,, interview itself was less than 10 minutes.

The embassy officer stated that he needed 2 photos to complete the process. The instructions i had stated only one photo was required for the embassy interview. Luckily she had made an extra photo.. For a total of six photos. 4 for the medical process and 2 for the embassy interview.
Remember! At least six photos are required. Can not hurt to take an extra phot.

Good luck!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
