Hi... have you received your visa yet? Or do you have to wait for the visa services to begin again that were suspended due to covid?

Did you guys ever manage to make it to your interview?
Jon & Ygritte on 2020-06-09 said:
Yes, we had the interview on May 28th. The doctor's report wasn't in however so we are still waiting for the visa. Hoping to see it issued this week!

Visa issued today! Hurrah!

Hi, do you mind explaining what reason you gave for them to expedite the interview process. My fiancé is alone during the pandemic as well, can you share some more details?

@Ujjwal My husband belongs to a risk group for Covid19 as he is 60 plus and has high blood pressure. We stated that he needs my support if he should get ill as he is living alone. We also stated that I live in a multi-generational household in my country which is a risk factor to me. I would recommend you to apply for your case to be expedited by the embassy whatever reasons you have. Some embassies seem to be generous with approving expedites due to Covid19, and so may your embassy be. All you risk is a "no". Good luck!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
