Embassy Review :
Arrived the embassy just before 6am for my 6.45am appointment.

General instructions were issued before entry into the Embassy. Important to listen well. "Open the envelopes of your medical reports, bring out your interview letters and your most receipt passport"

Appointments for 6.30, 6.45 and 7am were called. The first stop checks that you have no banned items in your folders or with you.

Second stop checks your IV letter and gives you a number. I was number 8

Then entry into the Consulate for the interview. I was given a contact card to fill name, address phone number and email.

Firstly attended to by a Nigerian, she requested for originals of the Police Cert, Birth Cert and Marriage certificates; and also requested copies. Originals are returned. She also collected the medical report.

Added the documents to my packet and passed it on to the CO. Was called about 7minutes later to Window 16, I was the second person to be interviewed.

Raised right hand and swear that the information is true the whole truth nothing but the truth to the best of your knowledged. I did.

CO asked the following questions:

1. Who is calling you to the US
2. Where did you meet
3. How long have you been together
4. How frequently does she visit Nigeria
5. Where does she live?
6. Did you apply to go to see her in the US last year
7. What does she do? Where does she work

CO: Pulls out paper from, circles address "in about two weeks, please pick up your passport and visa at this location. Good luck"

CO also returned truckload of evidence the Girl had sent, pictures, her taxes, calls, emails, boarding passes, tickets.

Was out of the Consulate in under 30 minutes.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
