Event Description
Review Date : March 12, 2018
Embassy Review : We completed our CR1/married immigrant visa interview in Bogota,Columbia today. We will give you a general over of our process from the time we got the letter on 2-Feb-2018. Yurima was coming from Cuba so this will be based already their requirement. I will post a few needed link over the next few days to see the requirements to get the visa from Cuba to Bogota. The only challenge requirement is the $2000 average daily balance in your banking account. I used a copy of my 401K balance and they accepted it. I went to the Colombian Embassy in Washing DC( I live in Baltimore) and had a guarantee letter created in Spanish. The guarantee letter must have their seal and I had to DHL it to my wife, it takes 5 days. Yurima got her visit the morning she was flying. We are here for 9 days. 1 day before her first appointment and 3 days after he interview to pick up the visa. All te instructions you need are in this PDF. Make you doctor's appointment as soon as you can. They will not respond to a business email address. https://co.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/103/IVPkt34ENGSep2017.pdf and schedule your lab work the day before your doctor's appointment. So try to get in country 7 days before your appointment and allow 3 days after for visa delivery which is only in country at a DHL location that you will choose when you register at this link. https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-co/iv. The good new is that the petitioner is allowed to be inside, but just so you know i was also interviewed today at another window newt to Yurima, no problem, we was prepared just in case they pulled that stunt and they did. We studied these questions and they asked 50% of them, Yurima and I role-played and it help us to prepare us for the unexpected... https://rapidvisa.com/cr1-visa-interview-questions/ I am available for any addition questions via email to information@cubasportsgear.com or text message to 443-839-3579 anytime do not hesitate. Regards Marsha & Yurima....best of luck.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
