Embassy Review : |
Our interview was at 8 AM and we were out by 11:10. We reached there at 7:43 AM and went right in. The actual interview only lasted about 3 minutes. We are an interracial couple with a 14 year age difference (me being elder). We also eloped with only 2 friends at the wedding because we didn't think his parents would approve (we have since told them and they are cool). The interviewer didn't ask about either of these things. He only asked how we met (at work. My company sent me to train his team. When I returned to the US, he would message me with work questions and we would then start talking personally). We also have a 2 year old son and most of the questions were about him. The interviewer wanted to see pics of our wedding, pics of the 2 times I brought our son to India, and our son's birth certificate and passport (he was currently at the hotel with my husband's sister). My husband was then told he was approved. It was a great experience. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
