We all know that it is very hard to passed the interview at the Manila, Embassy. During my time, I prayed to God every now and then. Every steps of the process, I always asked God for guiding me in answering the questions correctly and appropriately to avoid being denied. It was really a long process before my final interview. I was lucky that my interviewer just asked me simple questions which I knew about my fiancee (spouse now) . He just asked me the emergency # to be dialed here in the USA, my full name and birthdate as well as my spouse birth date, my address when I arrived, then how did we met and when our relationship start, then my spouse favorite actor, then what do I like her, and how did she became a US citizen then lastly showing our pictures together. After everything, He smiled and said, you prepare for the winter because it is very cold there! We laughed each other then he thumbs up and said "YOu'RE Approved!".. |

Embassy Review : |
At first, I arrived at Chicago, o'hare airport, my Port of Entry. It was seems so very agitated because it was my first time of having a long trip (from Philippines-Korea, Korea-Chicago, then Chicago (transfer to midway airport) to have domestic flight in Minneapolis, MN. While taking the line up (passengers that having visas), I was preparing and checking every corner of my Yellow envelop (which I was so very careful and not to be tore even a little) that was needed to be showed and opened only by the immigration officer. During my time, I was lucky that the immigration who handled me was very approachable. He got my yellow enveloped and passport and just asked me about my address here in Minnesota and asked me about my full name then asked my birthdate and the birthdate of my fiancee (now my spouse) as well as the type of visa that I am using. I answered it well and luckily, he said with a with a great big smile, "OKAY SANDRA, WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!" :-) |

Timeline Comments: 1I filed my I-751 the same day you did in the California Service Center and I still didn't even receive my NOA1. How did you get you biometrics scheduled so fast? Please share your secret! haha
BTW, there is a forum for October filers: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/685749-i-751-october-2018/
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
