Event Description

Embassy Review : A very easy experience, not without its problems but one should not blame the service staff when the chefs haven't done the menu properly!

Security was very easy and relaxed. I lined up at the Yellow sign for Citizen Services and Immigrant Visas. Was called forward without having to wait too long.

Inside I was sent straight to Window G and had my forms all checked. UK Police report was the wrong one, and I-864 needs to be re-done, plus I-864a is needed as well. I knew there would be something wrong! So many forms and documents it's almost impossible to keep everything in track.

Presented all other documents, including ream of photos of our life together.

Paid my visa fee at the cashier via credit card.

Interview was nice and friendly. Explained how we met (dating agency), and where and something of our life together over the past years. What will I be doing in the US? Nothing unexpected or difficult. Honest answers to honest questions.

Was given a ineligibility letter stating what is needed to have the case reviewed.

Total time inside about 1 hour.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
