Consulate Review: Taipei, Taiwan Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : August 27, 2015 Embassy Review : AIT was overall effective at their job, however we had a few difficulties. 1. She tried to apply for an interview date online (the only way to make the appointment) she repeatedly got a calendar of dates with no times available. We had to call a phone number +88607010801575 (as of 08/2015) and someone fixed her profile quickly. 2. She arrived for her interview exactly at the time specified and was never called upon for her interview. She sat patiently and waited for 2.5 hours until they almost closed. Someone finally asked her what she was waiting for and she got help. They said they "mixed up the paperwork" but there was only one other k1 appointment that day. Still, once noticed she went through the interview wicket and without issue and they apologized. 4/5 everything was relatively easy and straight forward though time consuming. A few hiccups but overall process completed as promised. Rating : Good
