My interview was at 7:30 am. But, I reached there at 6:45.
We were asked to wait till some representative comes and ask us to form line.
Around 7, one representative from consulate came and he asked us to form a line. There was separate line for immigrant visa.
Once we went inside, we went through security check.
Please do not carry any CD's, because you will have to otherwise go out to give it back.
We were asked to open sealed cover having X-ray Cd. One envelope was kept sealed.
After we went inside we were asked to take our original and photocopy of,
1. PCC
2. Birth Certi
3. Marriage Certi
4. Appointment letter
5. DS-260 (one with biometric appt stamp)
then we were issued tokens and asked for interview preference (at that time we just need to show appt letter)
Then we sat for while, when one indian lady came and organised docs.
Then my token number displayed,
where indian rep asked for all my documents and then he went to get my file.
He asked my two questions
1. Was this first marriage for both of us
2. Have I ever travelled to US before
then he returned my docs and asked me to wait.
People who had preferred other language than English were called first.
My interview took after around hour.
Questions asked where
1. What does my parents do
2. what have I studied
3. What is my specialization
4. What does my husband do
5. Does he stay with parents
6. Where does his parents stay
7. Why they do not stay in same house
Then heard golden words that My visa is approved and was asked to pay Green card fee before i travel
My visa showed issued within 3 hours of my interview. But as had long weekend so I got sms to pickup passport after 3 days from my interview.
One advise:
Be true, dont get nervous, and Be organised(most imp.)
All the best all of you!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
