Green Card was issued before EAD I-765 was approved. USCIS canceled our I-766, with the explanation that the benefit was received through other means. It seems that the greencard automatically grants work status. |

AP was received exactly 1 week before Green Card was received, so it was truly a waste of paperwork. Fortunately, it was free. Perhaps filing for all three simultaneously, is further proof of a real relationship. |

Embassy Review : |
My fiancée arrived 10 minutes Before the suggested time of 7:30am, 1/2 hour before they open the building. There was already a line, and it was raining. Demonstrating compassion not normally observed in Government workers, the
Embassy opened the doors early and allowed the line to come in out of the rain. The process within was typical of a government run facility. Take a number, wait for your number to be called, proceed to ( ) window, surrender [ ] documents, please sit back down and wait to be called again, etc...
After a couple of laps around the interior 'window shopping', it was my fiancée's turn for the interview. She was given the option of being interviewed in English or Korean. The Consulate interviewer was an American born Korean, and so spoke both languages fluently. My fiancée chose English, and just a few questions later, she was done. The Second (2nd) folder of additional relationship evidence was neither needed or accepted. Perhaps having it was enough. All in All, a very easy process, made possible by the professionalism of the people who work there at the Embassy in Seoul. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
