Actual date 129F was sent was 03-16-2015, BUT this system will not accept that because it is not within 30 days. We mailed it from the UK, and it sat in customs in Chicago for almost a month, before being forwarded to the lockbox in Dallas. |

The first agent did not appear to be familiar with the K1 procedures. The second agent knew exactly what was required and sent beneficiary on his way into the US promptly. We allowed extra time in Newark (where he was just connecting) to ensure sufficient time for processing. |

We would have successfully been approved on the day of the interview, but we did not realize that an entirely new physical exam was required. In 2015, requirements changed so that the physical exam that allowed the applicant into the US cannot be used for further approvals UNLESS it occurred within 12 months of the new approval date. Given processing times, this is nearly never the case. So . . . paid for yet another physician exam, spent a day on doing that, and waited five days for lab results to be available. Now waiting for further processing. |

Card sent via tracked mail on Feb 29 and received March 3. Notices on My USCIS site were unclear because the I-131 was not mentioned or updated, even though it was actually issued jointly with the I-765. This caused a bit of distress, as my husband needed to travel quite urgently. In the end, though, they were issued together as expected. |

See above comment regarding the I-765. These were actually issued together, on the same card, but it didn't indicate that in the notices we received, or in what was listed on the USCIS site for the I-131. We were therefore not certain whether AP had been approved & processed, or not. Fortunately, it was! |

The first agent seemed uncertain what to do with the K1. After waiting for a little while for a superior, he checked the information & was very quickly satisfied with everything. Not a long delay, fortunately, although extra time had been built in to my connection (I was continuing to Houston), to ensure I could clear all necessary administrative hurdles without missing my flight!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
