Comments : Arrived at facility 10 minutes before interview. Check in took another 10 minutes. After a short wait, I was called by IO. The Immigration Officer was very nice. He checked whether I was nervous, which I was, and tried calming me down with small talks. Started interview by doing the History, reading and writing tests. The IO then went through the application, correcting some errors I made relating to citations( I declared my speeding ticket) .but forgot to check the box on conviction and 1 other box. The IO then told me I was approved and he has scheduled my oath ceremony in 2 days, which I was very happy about. Very smooth process, with very helpful staff at the facility

Event Description

Embassy Review : Interview scheduled for 8:30.

Arrived at about 7:15, there was about 20 people already queuing.
Went to Starbucks for a cup of coffee be returning a 7:45. There now more than 40 people divide into 2 lines. One for the security to check your type of interview, Immigrant/Non-immigrant, and verify your document. As an IV applicant I was sent to the front of the second queue.

Once in the hall, I was given a number whilst my DS160 and interview letter checked.

Waited in main hall for abot 30 minutes before being called to submit my documents - Passport, I134, Tax transcript, police certificate, birth certificate, passport picture. I was then asked to wait for the main interview.

Waited for an hour, before being called. The CO was a very professional lady.

Asked how we met. As I am not a UK national, asked a few question, as to my immigration history in the UK.

Asked whether my Fiancee has been married more than once, and my divorce date.

She then checked and confirmed that both my fiancee and myself were in the same profession.

She then said that she was satisfied, and I will receive visa in 10=15 days
She added that I need to travel before the 14th of October as that was when my petition expires

Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
