Bom Dia!

We arrived at the USCIS around 01pm( half hour before our appointment time) after check-in procedures we were told to proceed to the 2nd floor where we should wait on a big waiting room which on this date was super crowded, because it was also happening naturalization ceremony for about 50 people and also some Infopass people.
Well, after a while at exactly 01:40pm, which was 10 minutes after our appointment time we were called by my name by the officer(o be aware and pay attention that you might be called by your name instead of the numbers that they will provide to you at check-in reception desk).
Officer was professional and polite and first asked ours ID and passports. After that he asked all the questions from the I-485 form which I answered "No" to all of them; After that a couple questions about how we met and how was our weeding celebrated, also if my husband has already meet my family, then asked my husband my parents name, he asked if we had some pictures to show, and if we had a bank statement with us.
Then he took a copy of our rental lease, bank statements and some bills.
He talked a little more with my husband about our pictures saying that we travel a lot and such things just on a normal conversation.
After that he said everything looked good for him and he would approve me.
Over all a great experience, officer made us feel very comfortable during the whole interview. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
