My interview and Medical was in Montreal Canada.
First off I stayed in the Square Phillips hotel, its the perfect location, the Medysis is not too far of a walk, and the consulate is directly behind it, about a 3 to 4 minute walk literally around the corner.
My medical was fast...I was in and out in about a hour. You go in to the building on the 11th floor I believe, and wait in line to be called to counter. Staff is very nice. They take your vaccine list, or make a copy, and need to see your consulate letters. Then they give you a form to fill out. I got called in for weight and blood work, eyetests very nice girl took those.
Then back to wait room and then called in 10 minutes for x rays (dont wear necklaces if you dont want to take them off and risk loosing them) after xrsy they give u a paper for the girls at counter.
Then back to lobby..I finished filling out my forms and gave the receptionist my x ray slip of paper and form I was filling out.
Then the doctor came out. I seen Doctor Mienier and he was very very nice, beautiful office. He checked my reflexes, stomach, throat, glands, eyes, and went over questions with me. About 12 minutes with him. Overall very nice clinic
my medical papers/results was ready the day before interview, I picked it up in the morning (bring I.d)
My interview day I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment. Maybe 6 people infront and by 7:40 alot were behind. You are let in to the building one at a time. Have your papers ready. They were very nice, but want to be effecient. So no laptops, no phone, no big bags. I used an accordion folder. When u get inside they asked to see our letter confirming interview date/time and tgen checked that your loomis registered. Then he went over a form and crossed off my name for who was to enter the building today. Again very nice guy at door, very helpful.
Inside went through airport style security. Then were sent downstairs to wait. Then after maybe 10 minutes we were sent up the elevator to the 19th floor in a group of maybe 8 people.
we waited in the centre seats, but if your confused a lady working the floor will direct you.
After ten minutes I was called to a standing window. A polite lady behibd the glass took documents from me..visa, and color copy. Consulate letters, financials and documents..she onky needed 2014 taxes, ect.. (but bring three years incase..it cant hurt) my fiancee has a new job so I gave her paystubs and a letter from the company proving his employment and earnings.
I did not have to give her my ds160, but make sure you bring it. She already had a file infront of her with my ds160 in it. However I had to make changes since my fiancee moved, so I did another ds160 and just told her this was the updated one. She took my new one and updated it and got rid of the old one. And it was no issue at all, they would rather everything is current and up to date, so dont worry if you need to redo your ds160. Just bring the original ones, but bring the newest and inform them if you made a new one. I brought both, incase I needed it to get into the building. Overall she was a very nice lady too.
After I finished with her and she took the stuff from the checklist, my files were sent to the interview areas, so you go sit back down, read your pamflet on domestic abuse. But I was called to the next window for my interview. I was sworn in with oath.
again, very professional man, but he was very nice, he asked a series of basic relationship questions, which if your in a real relationship you will know the answers. He had my file and he typed while he spoke. But he joked a bit, which was nice, eased my stress.
about ten minutes later I got an approval and a welcome to America letter and he told me I was all done and could go, and my visa will arrive in 2 weeks and to marry in 90 days. Which we are def planning much sooner!
So overall I had a great experience, yes its stressful because its an unknowen, but follow the checklist, bring everything on it, and then any extras you need to support your case. They really are there to help you.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
